Okrem hlavného poslania a povolania byť lektorkou pre duchovnú oblasť, popri tom aj učím. Zámerne píšem „popri tom," nakoľko sa v tomto momente asi rozchádzam s pohľadom väčšiny učiteľov. Vždy a to už pri nástupe do zamestnania v školstve, som bola presvedčená o tom, že vzdelanie by nemala byť priorita. Znie to zvláštne?
Nikoho nechcem týmto poburovať, avšak neviem si pomôcť s týmto mojim vnútorným pocitom. Výchovno-vzdelávací proces na škole je mojou oficiálnou náplňou a plne sa s tým stotožňujem. Na prvom mieste výchova a prostredníctvom nej aj vzdelávanie. Áno, v tomto poradí to cítim, že Boh by si želal rozvíjať intelekt, ktorý je tiež Jeho darom. Mať vedomosti a výchovu len ako doplnok, to vedie k vojnám, nerovnosti, povyšovaniu sa. No byť vychovaný a popri tom sa vzdelávať, to je kľúčom k úspechu a rozvoju osobnosti.


Samozrejme moja povinnosť je deti učiť, čo aj robím, ale čo je dôležitejšie, snažím sa ich počúvať. Počúvať ich otázky, často sa pýtajú „na čo mi bude to a to, prečo sa to musím učiť" alebo len jednoducho rôznymi spôsobmi, či už nesústredenosťou alebo niekedy aj slovne, vyjadria, že ich niečo nebaví. Vtedy ich nechám rozprávať... Vo svete, kde otázky podobného charakteru sú považované za drzosť, cítim a vnímam, že sú výkrikom do tmy. Deti stále viac a viac uvažujú nad zmyslom okolností navôkol. Prečo sa toto všetko deje, prečo ak sa im niečo nepáči, by mali byť ticho. Áno, samozrejme je dôležitá aj forma, ako pokladajú otázky, ale ten obsah mi vždy smeruje k jednému. K slobode.
Chcú sa prirodzene oslobodiť od niečoho, čo ich zväzuje. No sami nemajú vnútorne vysporiadané, že či práve škola, učivo či vyučujúci je tým, kto mu v tej slobode bránia. Navzájom sa okrikujú a hovoria „nebuď drzý, nepatrí sa takéto otázky pýtať." Ale ja chcem, aby sa ich pýtali, pýtali slušne, ale pýtali. „Proste a bude vám dané, hľadajte a nájdete, klopte, a otvorí sa vám." Platilo to vtedy a platí to i teraz a v každej situácii.
Nemajme predsudky, že sa na nás budú zle pozerať. Áno, aj u nás sa stane, že učiteľ nezareaguje v súlade s očakávaním, dokonca zareaguje nad očakávania hrubo. Je mi to ľúto, veľmi ľúto. Moja túžba po slobode je tak veľká, že niekedy ťažko nesiem, ak je už v zárodku potláčaná. Ale Boh nám dal slobodnú vôľu a to je jediné, čo nám druhí vziať nikdy nemôžu.
