,„Slovo sa stalo telom – teda človekom, Ježišom Kristom..." Možno tieto slová znejú skôr vianočne v čase pôstu a pôstneho pokánia. No sú nadčasové z pohľadu histórie i z pohľadu akéhokoľvek obdobia v živote človeka. Existuje tu totiž pokračovanie týchto slov pre naše dni slovami otca Augustína: „Avšak chce sa stať človekom, každým z nás."

V čase, kedy končí zima, mrazy a ľady sa roztápajú, príroda prebúdza život, ktorý dosiaľ tíško spal. Vidno drobné púčiky jarných kvietkov, na konárikoch stromov a kríčkov. Dokonca prvé nesmelé kvietky. A my? Ak naše mysle a srdcia driemu pod prikrývkou nevedomosti, strnulosti a žijú životom uväzneným v zažitých neživých konceptoch, alebo možno kritiky druhých, obviňovania a zlých návykov – nie je možné tieto negatíva prirovnať k štipľavému mrazu či ostrým hrotom ľadovcov, ktoré zraňujú nás samých i druhých?


Čo môže zobudiť pravý život v nás? Nepochybne je to Svetlo Božej lásky presne ako na oblohe žiariace hrejivé Slnko. Keď sa otvoríme Božej láske prostredníctvom Jeho Slova, uvidíme svoju špatnosť, nečistotu našej duše. Pocítime žiaľ nad zlým, čo sme vykonali, s čím sme sa zjednocovali. Vtedy budeme túžiť po obmytí nášho srdca. Vtedy zatúžime po pravom pokání. Pokánie – výzva týchto dní v pôstnom období.
Možno zažívate v hĺbke svojho ja zmätok, možno negatívne pocity, možno prázdno, niečo ako mráz vnikajúci až do špiku kostí. Verte, že môže prísť jar. Tá jar - to je zmena. Je to otvorené srdce Božiemu Slnku lásky, ktoré roztopí i zamrznutý sneh. Odvrhnutie zlého života, ktorý sme žili doteraz a odvaha prijať výzvu do neznáma – do neznámeho Božieho sveta pokoja a šťastia. Zabudnime na myšlienky, že nie sme dosť dobrí pre dobro. Boh chce objať každého jedného z nás. Chce žiť v živote každého jedného z nás. Chce, aby sme sa všetci bez rozdielu stali Jeho Slovom.
Okrem ľútosti preto hľadajme i cestu do Božieho srdca skrze modlitbu a pravý, čistý život. Tú cestu, ktorá z nás urobí pravé Božie deti. Tých, o ktorých hovoria slová: „Slovo sa stalo človekom, Ježišom Kristom... Avšak chce sa stať človekom, každým z nás."
Nech v našom živote znejú slová sv. Augustína: „Nespokojné je moje srdce, kým nespočinie v Tebe, Bože." I tie, ktoré vypovedal otec Augustín ako doplnenie Božieho pohľadu: „No nespokojné je i Božie srdce, pokým nespočinie v nás." A keď sa toto všetko naplní, náš svet sa zmení na Božie kráľovstvo. Nebeský Rodič i človek budú zjednotení.
